V-Guard Industries has introduced its new Aurina RO Water Purifier series in India, aiming to redefine home water purification with advanced technology, improved water efficiency, and space-saving design. The new range has been specially developed to meet the changing needs of Indian households, where limited kitchen space, inconsistent water supply, and hygiene concerns remain common challenges.
The highlight of the Aurina series is its industry-first DuoGuard Filter Technology, a proprietary dual-cartridge system designed to improve purification performance while simplifying installation. Unlike conventional purifiers that require separate external pre-filters, Aurina integrates pre-filtration directly into a compact unit. This allows for a cleaner and more organised kitchen setup without the need for additional wall drilling or extra installation space.
According to the company, the DuoGuard system includes an anti-microbial activated carbon layer that works continuously to prevent microbial growth inside the purifier. The technology also manages water pressure variations efficiently, ensuring smooth performance even in areas with low or fluctuating water supply. This makes the purifier particularly suitable for Indian households where water pressure issues are common.
Apart from convenience, the Aurina series also focuses on sustainability. By eliminating external pre-filters and optimising its integrated design, the purifier can help reduce approximately 3.8 kilograms of plastic waste over four years for every unit installed. The company says this approach reflects a growing emphasis on environmentally responsible home appliances.
Aurina also promises improved water efficiency. The purifier ensures that every drop of water passes through reverse osmosis purification in line with Bureau of Indian Standards guidelines. With a water recovery rate of up to 40 percent, even at high Total Dissolved Solids levels of up to 2,000 PPM, the purifier can help households save nearly 12.5 litres of water every day.
To maintain nutritional balance, the purifier is equipped with a Mineral Health Charger that restores essential minerals after purification. This process not only improves water quality but also enhances taste and supports healthier drinking water for families.
Speaking about the launch, Mithun K Chittilappilly, Managing Director of V-Guard Industries Ltd., said the company wanted to create a solution that addresses practical everyday problems faced by Indian consumers. He explained that Aurina was developed to tackle issues such as microbial growth, inconsistent water pressure, and installation difficulties while delivering reliable purification performance.
The Aurina series is available in four different variants, each offering a 7-litre storage capacity and multi-stage purification systems combining RO, UV, UF, and Mineral Health Charger technologies. The variants include:
- Aurina 2X RO + UV + UF + MHC
- Aurina 2X RO + UF + MHC
- Aurina RO + UF + MHC
- Aurina RO + UV + UF + MHC
To strengthen customer confidence, V-Guard is offering a two-year unconditional warranty covering filters, RO membrane, and electrical components. The company’s expanding pan-India service network will provide after-sales support to consumers across the country.
Priced between ₹8,999 and ₹12,499, the Aurina series will be available exclusively through leading e-commerce platforms and the official V-Guard website. With this launch, V-Guard is aiming to combine advanced purification technology, sustainability, and user-friendly design into a single modern home appliance tailored for Indian kitchens.
