Mumbai: Women With Drive, a flagship initiative by Autocar India and Mahindra & Mahindra, returned with its sixth edition, bringing together women drivers for a day filled with excitement, learning and confidence-building experiences. The event began with a convoy drive from Mumbai to Aamby Valley, setting the tone for an engaging journey.
Participants drove premium SUVs such as the Mahindra XUV 3XO and the Mahindra Thar Roxx along scenic highways. These vehicles, known for their comfort and performance, provided a hands-on experience while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable drive. Upon reaching Aamby Valley, participants were introduced to a series of curated challenges designed to test their driving skills and teamwork.
One of the highlights was the Capture the Flag Challenge, where teams of two had to complete a timed task that required coordination and quick decision-making. Drivers switched positions mid-task, making it a true test of teamwork and agility. Another engaging activity was the Find the Feature Challenge, where participants explored the advanced infotainment system and features of the XUV 3XO within a limited time. This exercise showcased the vehicle’s user-friendly technology and modern design.
The Autocross Challenge added an adrenaline rush to the event. Conducted on a specially designed track at the airstrip, this slalom-style course tested precision and control. The compact design of the XUV 3XO proved advantageous as drivers manoeuvred through tight corners with ease. For off-road enthusiasts, the rugged Mahindra Scorpio-N and the iconic Mahindra Thar demonstrated their strength on challenging terrains, highlighting their superior off-road capabilities.
The Thar Roxx also stood out during the convoy drive, combining bold design with comfort, making it suitable for both long journeys and daily use.
Speaking about the initiative, Renuka Kirpalani of Autocar India emphasised that the event provides a supportive platform for women to build confidence behind the wheel. Manjari Upadhye from Mahindra Automotive highlighted that such initiatives reflect the brand’s commitment to empowering women through mobility and independence.
Women With Drive 2026 successfully blended adventure with learning, creating an inspiring space where women could explore their driving potential and celebrate their journey on the road.
