Air purifiers are increasingly becoming a part of everyday life, especially in cities where dust, traffic and changing weather conditions can affect indoor air quality. Keeping this growing need in mind, XECH Technologies has launched XECH Atmos, a compact air purifier priced at ₹2,999 and designed specifically for smaller indoor spaces.

The new purifier is designed for rooms of up to 175 sq. ft., making it suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, kids’ rooms, study areas, home offices, cabins and even personal workspaces.

XECH says Atmos has been developed with the idea of making air purification more accessible to Indian households. Instead of focusing on large rooms, the company has designed the device around the kind of compact spaces commonly found in urban homes and workplaces.

At the heart of the XECH Atmos is a three layer filtration system. It includes a pre-filter, an H13 HEPA filter and an activated carbon layer. Together, these layers are designed to capture dust, fine particulate matter and everyday odours.

The H13 HEPA filter is rated to offer 99.97% filtration efficiency for particles between 0.1 and 0.3 microns. The purifier also has a 40m³/h Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR), indicating the volume of filtered air it can deliver over time.

The company recommends Atmos for spaces up to 175 sq. ft. Its filter is designed to last approximately 3,000 hours, depending on usage and conditions.

Beyond filtration, the purifier comes with features aimed at making everyday use easier. It offers three airflow speeds along with a silent sleep mode, allowing users to operate it during the night, while studying or while working.

The device also features one touch controls and timer options of 6, 12 and 24 hours. This allows users to set the purifier according to their routine rather than leaving it running continuously.

Adding another feature to the compact appliance is an aromatherapy function. Users can add a few drops of suitable essential oil to the aroma pad, combining air purification with a fragrance experience.

According to Pranay Punjabi, Founder and CEO of XECH Technologies, the company saw a gap in the Indian market for smaller and more affordable air purifiers. He said many existing products are built for larger spaces and come at a higher price, while Atmos has been designed around smaller rooms and everyday Indian homes.

XECH Atmos is available through the XECH website, XECH Experience Centres, Amazon and other leading e-commerce platforms.

The launch comes as awareness around indoor air quality continues to grow in urban India. Factors such as traffic, construction, dust, industrial activity and seasonal weather can contribute to particulate pollution.

With its compact size, multiple operating modes and ₹2,999 price point, XECH is positioning Atmos as an accessible option for consumers looking to add air purification to smaller everyday spaces.
