Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has successfully concluded its Toyota Safety Education Programme (TSEP) in Delhi, reinforcing its commitment to road safety. The initiative, themed “Road Safety – My Right, My Responsibility,” engaged students in interactive learning at KV No. 2 Cantonment, Dr. Sarvapalli Auditorium.

Designed to instill responsible road behaviour among young users, TSEP encourages students to become safety ambassadors in their communities. With previous sessions in Bengaluru and the latest in Delhi, the programme will continue in Bengaluru on 8th February and Mumbai on 11th February. By 2025, TSEP aims to reach over 70,000 students and 600 teachers across 140 schools.

The event featured student-led activities such as poster-making, skits, songs, and fact-based video presentations, fostering creative engagement in road safety awareness. Awards were presented to participants for their innovative contributions.

Since its inception in 2007, TSEP has impacted over 800,000 students nationwide, employing a structured ABC approach:

Awareness: Educating students on road safety rules.

Behavioural Change: Encouraging responsible road habits.

Campaigns: Driving community engagement.

The programme also supports schools in establishing Road Safety Clubs, ensuring sustained learning and peer-to-peer advocacy. TKM integrates this initiative within its broader “Real World Safety” approach, combining education, vehicle safety, and traffic improvements to address road safety challenges in India.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor continues to collaborate with schools, educators, and policymakers to embed road safety education into curricula, reinforcing its long-term vision of safer roads through informed and responsible citizens.
