BSNL has ensured uninterrupted communication services at the Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. A dedicated customer service centre has been set up in the Mela area for pilgrims’ assistance.

Free SIM cards are being distributed to pilgrims from all states, allowing them to stay connected. Lost or damaged cards can be replaced without returning to their home states.
To meet increased demand, BSNL has activated 90 BTS towers, including 30 4G, 30 3G, and 30 2G towers. The company has also provided high-speed internet, Wi-Fi hotspots, leased lines, and satellite phone services.
BSNL’s infrastructure supports seamless communication for pilgrims, security forces, and volunteers. The network remained stable during peak periods such as Amrit snans, ensuring reliable service despite heavy crowds.
This effort is part of BSNL’s contribution to strengthening communication under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
