Bajaj Finserv has announced the grand finale of its flagship digital music talent platform, Bajaj Dhuniverse, which will take place on March 31 in Mumbai. The much-anticipated event will unveil the ‘Voice of the Nation’ in the presence of celebrated music composers Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, collectively known as Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Launched as a digital-first initiative, Bajaj Dhuniverse has quickly emerged as a credible platform for discovering musical talent across India. Over the past six months, it has attracted more than 60,000 aspirants from diverse regions, including metros, small towns and remote areas. Participants were able to audition through audio and video submissions, removing the barriers of geography and accessibility that often limit traditional talent hunts.
The competition now reaches its final stage, where ten shortlisted finalists, along with one wild-card entrant, will perform live before the jury and audience. All finalists have been carefully selected and mentored by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy through a structured and multi-layered evaluation process conducted digitally.
The winner of Bajaj Dhuniverse will earn the prestigious title of ‘Voice of the Nation’ as well as ‘Voice of Bajaj’. This opportunity goes beyond recognition. The winner will collaborate with Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy to co-create Bajaj’s sonic identity and will also produce an independent music album with Zee Music Company, offering a significant launchpad for a professional music career.
Speaking about the initiative, Manav Mianwal, President of Digital Platforms at Bajaj Finserv, emphasised the company’s commitment to nurturing talent. He noted that platforms like Bajaj Dhuniverse are designed to harness India’s vast potential and create new role models across fields such as music, sports, technology and culture. The strong response in its first year has encouraged the company to expand the initiative further.
The mentors also shared their experiences. Shankar Mahadevan highlighted the inclusive nature of the platform, stating that its digital approach has brought forward exceptional voices from across the country. Ehsaan Noorani praised the depth and quality of talent discovered during the process, while Loy Mendonsa described the journey as deeply rewarding and expressed excitement for the finale.
Bajaj Dhuniverse stands out for its transparent and technology-driven format. Entries opened on November 7, 2025, and closed on January 8, 2026, achieving a remarkable participation rate without relying on traditional television promotions or large-scale campaigns.
As the finale approaches, Bajaj Dhuniverse is set to celebrate India’s rich musical diversity while creating a new star who will represent the voice of a nation.
