Bihar’s 2025 Assembly elections have made history, as women voters turned out in record numbers and outpaced male participation. With the counting of votes scheduled for tomorrow, political parties are anxiously awaiting results, as this unprecedented voter engagement has left both the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the opposition Mahagathbandhan guessing the outcome.
According to official data, Bihar recorded an overall voter turnout of around 66.9% across the two phases of polling.
