Key Traffic Projects
BMC is implementing several initiatives to ease traffic flow. One of them is the Access Control Project. It will improve junctions on the Eastern and Western Express Highways. The project is already underway.
Another measure is the Area Traffic Control (ATC) System. It is being installed at signal junctions across the city. This system will optimise traffic lights for better flow.
Focus on Pedestrian Safety

Mumbai still faces traffic issues. The closure of the Elphinstone Road Over Bridge (ROB) has caused concern. It is part of the Sewri-Worli Connector project. The bridge is one of several being rebuilt.
