Entertainment lawyer Rohini Vakil has been honoured for her outstanding contribution to India’s legal and intellectual property ecosystem. She received the award for “Esteemed Contributions to the Legal Ecosystem” during the launch of the book IP to IPO: Decolonizing Academic Startup Revolution, authored by Umesh Rathod.
The event took place at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Auditorium in Mumbai and brought together policymakers, legal experts, startup founders, business leaders and members of the innovation ecosystem. Maharashtra’s Information Technology and Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar attended the programme as the Chief Guest. Several other distinguished guests, including Mangal Prabhat Lodha, were also present.
